The students at Anna McDonald School are teaming up to help fight Type 1 Juvenile Diabetes. On NOVEMBER 11, 2016 students will WALK to show their support of the more than 200,000 youths who have T1D.
Our school's goal is $3,000.00 for research to CURE Type 1 Diabetes. This deadly and debilitating disease affects 1.25 million Americans.
There are two ways to donate:
*Collect monetary donations and place them in your collection envelop. Checks can be made payable to JDRF.
*Raise money online by going to www2.jdrf.org/goto/annamcdonald and sign up under our school. If you send out 10 fundraising emails through your Participant Center, you earn a chance to win a GoPro or Bike. Raise $50 or more online and be entered to win an XBox One.
Permission slips must be signed and returned to your homeroom teacher, with your donations, no later than Thursday, November 10, 2016.
Students raising $1.00+ will receive a JDRF paper sneaker to sign and hang in our hallways. $40+ JDRF T-shirt, $100+ Hand Held Light Up Fan, $250+ Power Band and Speaker-or-High Sierra Backpack-or-Light Up Power Soccer Disk.
Questions may be directed to Mrs. McCleverty or Mrs. Rossi
